Who we Are
If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ….. (1 Peter 2:4-5)
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him (Psalm 126:6)
iPresh is another way of saying, “I am Precious”. It is a movement dedicated to developing leadership qualities in Africans.
The passage 1 Peter 2:1-10 portrays a picture: Jesus is rejected by men but to God is most important and precious. Likewise, Africans are belittled by the world but to God are precious, just like Jesus if we come to God through Him. Now those precious Africans, together, make up an Africa that pleases God – those who are the way He intended them to be from eternity. Thus, our vision; an Africa that pleases God.
DEVELOPING PRECIOUS PEOPLE...
Our tag line, Developing Precious People… is inspired from Psalm 126:6, therein recorded as Sowing Precious Seeds. It paints a picture of a farmer who draws seeds from his bag as he puts them into the ground – sowing into fertile ground with expectations of harvest at due time. To us this means developing people from where they are (with their potentials) into where they should be. And people who are where they are with their potentials are leaders indeed, with certain globally recognized qualities.
We believe that a new race of mind-reforming, innovating, global problem-solving ideas of the world are breeding in Africa, waiting to be heard. And Yes! we speak of YOU.
